Donald Lim graduated from the Management & Technology Program in 1986. Upon graduation, he worked at Time Inc. in New York for the Sport Illustrated consumer marketing division as Finance Manager.

Donald joined the family business at Hotel Equatorial in 1990, and today is a Director/Vice President of Hotel Equatorial Management Sdn. Bhd. based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The group has over 40 years' experience in hotel development in Asia and manages its own as well as third-party hotel properties under the Equatorial brand. The business is also diversified into other commercial and residential real estate development as well restaurant/hospitality operations.
